Water Scuba: $350
(includes text, dive log, & dive tables;
rental gear $40 additional). This class enables the student to become
a diver. The Open Water course is designed to provide the student with
the basic knowledge and skills to safely gain limited experience in the
diving environment under favorable conditions. It is recommended the newly
certified diver limit himself/herself to calm shallow waters and have
an experienced buddy. Note:
A class, which consists of classroom and pool sessions, runs for 3 weeks.
Then the candidate must complete 4-5 dives done over a 2 day period.
